Aloft Strasbourg Etoile

The hotel is in walking distance to the town center. Less than 10 minutes walk to where the historical city center starts and 15 minutes to the Notre Dame. I was skeptical, initially, because the hotel is not exactly in the city center. However, having stayed in Strasbourg for 4 nights, I can confirm that the area around the hotel is very quiet. If you don't like the hassle or large crowds, I recommend this hotel over those in the city center. I had a short list of hotels, the others being right in the center of town; I passed by them during my visits and I congratulate myself not booking dead-central hotels, as the town gets extremely crowded, especially during the weekends. This hotel is right near the edge of the old town, in a quiet area. The hotel is also in a large intersection, near a shopping mall, and is safe to walk back at night. You are in walking distance from the center, so if you don't mind a 10 minute walk, I recommend this hotel. The room is very clean and quiet. The design of the room is modern. High windows overviewing the park. I don't remember them having a fridge, but I personally didn't need one. The hotel is near the tram station, so you can get to anywhere in Strasbourg or in the vicinity of the city. It's 2-3 minutes walking distance to the tram station. All in all, I can definitely say my expectations were exceeded. I also take into factor the price per night. I think the quality of the room exceeds the price point. I also visited Switzerland in my trip, and was highly disappointed by the conditions of the booking in Switzerland, compared to this hotel.

My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a productive and comfortable stay. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable, which was essential for my business needs. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I was well-rested for the following day. The location is another highlight. It’s conveniently situated, with easy access to the city center and public transportation, which made commuting to meetings effortless. Despite being centrally located, the hotel was quiet, offering a peaceful retreat after a busy day. Breakfast was a delight, offering a variety of fresh options to suit different tastes. Overall, Aloft Etoile Strasbourg provided the perfect mix of functionality and comfort, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to colleagues visiting Strasbourg!

Location & spacious room : You could get to the main centre by 15-20 min walk & tram station was couple of minutes walk hence easy to get from Gare Central too. The rooms were spacious and well lit up with big windows. The shower & toilets too were spacious.The front office staff were helpful and informative.There is a hyper market just few steps away for essentials.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aloft. It is very close to the centre of Strasbourg - about 15 minutes walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was huge - if a little hard for me. I loved the shower - great pressure and nice wash products. We were on the 6th floor so we had great views of the city. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. But there is a huge shopping centre opposite the hotel with sufficient breakfast options and a large supermarket.

A group of us got stuck in Strasbourg for an extra night after our flight was cancelled. We booked Aloft Strasbourg Etoile at the last minute on the night of as it was opposite the Flix Bus station we needed at 5am the next morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and sympathetic to our situation. The hotel itself was lovely. The king room was huge, lovely comfy bed with blackout blinds. Bathroom felt new and was very clean. Wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel offers breakfast but we had to check out at 5am before it started.
